Tai Chi Ball
Gentle exercise for strength and mobility

The ancient Chinese masters often used a ball to assist power training within their tai chi practice. This set is designed to build strength and power. Balance, root and harmony produce great inner strength.
In TCM it is believed that chi circles downwards and spirals back up; these exercises are based on this principle. Within this set you exercise all the muscles in the upper body including the rotator cuff, biceps, triceps, abdominals, obliques, back and shoulders. We recommend 0.5kg and 1kg soft weight balls.
Aims
Introduce Qigong principles and practice; develop awareness of flow, body alignment, relaxation, mindfulness, strength and flexibility.
Objectives
Teach the set with accurate form and breath coordination; apply balance and mindful movement to support wellbeing. Include potential adaptations for client needs/abilities.
